On the sixth day of Blogmas my true love gave to me...
Finally! We are officially half way through this Blogmas ordeal, and honestly, I am having a great time. I just think that next time I should plan it a bit better rather than planning it all in one night and trying not to trip over the busyness of taking the photos, editing them, and putting the post together. I will admit now, I did miss one day, but I uploaded at literally 2am the next day because I couldn't finish it before the midnight deadline. Nonetheless, I am bringing you 2 posts in one day, hope you enjoy!
So considering there is just under a week to christmas, I think I timed this post pretty well. I wanted to help all you people living dangerously out there who has left a few gifts left to buy so close to Christmas. (Don't worry I haven't finished my Christmas shopping either) and so I wanted to give you a few ideas from 6 brands or places that I would rely on for gifts. These are brands or places I have used and loved, so I'm hoping you'll like them too!
I met this brand when I was at a blogging event earlier this year, and I was instantly in love. They felt like a breath of fresh air, I loved the look of a lot of their products, so much so that I had gotten home that night and placed an order on their website for this little jewellery peak. It was the perfect thing, I didn't have a place to put my watches or my earrings, which is what makes this peak so perfect because there is a hidden compartment for all your smaller jewellery items. This brand is perfect for any lady in your life because of the innovative idea of being able to stack certain compartments together and essentially form your own jewellery box that is most suited to you. You can find out more here.
This brand also sells other forms of jewellery and makeup storage, ranging from prices of £10 to £100, which I think is quite reasonable considering the size and quality of item you receive. The next on my shopping list from them is the Charm boxes, where I would be able to safely store my Pandora bracelet and my spare charms!
This brand is a little different as it is not a beauty related item, and it's also suitable for both men and women as they specialise in protein drinks. Not nasty, powdery protein shakes. These are tasty, fresh, and has a whooping 20g of protein in each bottle whilst having no sugar or carbs at the same time. I was lucky enough to have had the chance to work with this brand earlier this year as you can see from a previous post, and I would love to continue working with them in the future as I believe they have all the potential to succeed.
Vieve currently has 3 flavours in their collection; Coconut & Honey, Citrus & Apple & Mint, and my personal favourite, Strawberry and Rhubarb. This would be a wonderful gift for anyone you know who is all into fitness or even thinking about starting in the new year as part of their New Year's resolution.
I discovered this brand rather recently and I am absolutely smitten with it. They are light, fun, but there is also something very mature about this brand that makes everyone love them so. They rose to fame after launching their Mean Girls' collection which was very well loved, and it is still available for purchase here.
This brand has plenty of different looking makeup brushes and accessories which I'm sure every girl will love. There's marble, mermaid & unicorns, mean girls and even a new zodiac collection which is photographed here. Even though they may not seem the most affordable brand when it comes to makeup brushes, they do come in a set, they are soft and of high quality. So to put it simply, you get 8 brushes and a makeup bag for £50 (in the zodiac collection) which equals to about £6.25 per brush, and that is extremely affordable. They are also vegan and cruelty free, what more could you want?
They are available for purchase online on their website or in Boots!
Surprisingly, I never used to like this brand. I would walk past everytime holding my nose because I could not stand the smell. But actually, once inside the shop, I began to like it. Then I had a bath bomb. And the next thing I knew I am addicted. One of my favourite things about Lush is that they are fighting to end animal testing which I believe is a great cause, and I hope they succeed.
A lot of people know that this brand is popular with the ladies, no matter whether it's the bath bombs, oils, shower gels or the lip scrubs. They do a wide variety of products and gift ideas. My favourite is the their Knot Wrap. You basically choose up to 4 products, then you choose a scarf for the gifts to be wrapped in. I think it is a wonderful idea and it allows for personalisation. If not, they have plenty of gift boxes available with a great mix of bath bombs.
They are still availble to buy online for Saturday delivery with the deadline being the 22nd at 2pm. If not, they have plenty of shops nationwide.
On Black Friday, I relied on these guys majorly for all the presents for the women in my life such as my friends and Nathan's mum. They have still got a brilliant range of gifts, definitely for any and everyone who is a beauty lover! There are plenty of other things to choose from, such as novelty gifts for men, gifts for kids, for the home decorator and so much more!
My personal choice would be the beauty advent calendars they currently have on sale there. All of them are majorly discounted, take the Essie Polish one for example! It was originally £80 for the 24 days calendar, but now it is ONLY £10! That is insane, imagine receiving that in your stocking!
You can order online to delivery or to pick up in store as well as going into the store directly!
Boots is THE shop I would rely on for most of my gifts. I feel like they sell such a wide range in there, that you might even find yourself stuck for choice! It is similar to Superdrug, but they do have their differences. I feel like Boots is slightly more high end due to selling brands like Dior and Chanel, and they also stock a lot of brands that Superdrug doesn't. Same can be said for Superdrug, as there are not a lot of advent calendars available from Boots.
I think my favourite range from Boots is the Soap & Glory range. I love S&G as a brand anyways, because they are always the ones with great packaging and a whole bottle of puns. At the same time, I feel like they have launched more gifts than ever this year, including their advent calendar which I would have LOVED to have gotten my hands on. Howevery, they still have plenty of gifts available, and some of them are discounted too! I also really like their Ted Baker range, I actually brought some for my friends but as you can see I accidentally wrapped them up before I could photograph them!
Many of their gifts are available online and in store!
